The lecture was within the activities of the Contracting Committee, and directed by the member of the Board of Directors and the Chairman Hamad Bin Hamoud Al Hammad.
A specialist in the construction sector researches a number of necessary methods for the proper implementation of the housing.
He stressed that the adoption of proper methods and practices in the construction of housing saves time and effort and bear the owner of the housing economic burdens of the amendment and improvement if errors.
The specialist, Majid bin Ibrahim Al-Muhaimeed, confirmed the importance of careful selection of competent engineer to work in the house designs and control the procedures and methods of construction by the contractor, which requires when selected by the owner of the house, as he should be honest and work efficiently.
He pointed out that the owner has the right to build the house in a proper manner and away from the financial waste that could affect his work later.
He stressed the need to use approved materials and devices to ensure the correct result.
During the lecture, Al-Muhaimeed said that the important requirements must be addressed to the owner of the house before building the house, as the most prominent of which is the selection of the area and the neighborhood that the house will be built on.
He pointed out that the area of the land must be as much as one's needs and estimated budget.
He noted that the neighborhood must be covered by the services it looks forward to and the appropriate nature of building of the house, which facilitates the process of construction and guaranteed protection from any difficulties or disasters that may get to the house because of the change in the nature of the land.
About the beginning of drawing sketches, Al-Mahaimeed said that the market of contracting contains a lot of specialized design.
He pointed to the need to choose a well-reputed office that has multiple tools and options, as the home owner can share ideas and responsibilities in accordance with the budget.
Al-Muhaimeed stressed the importance of the owner of the house to ensure the process of soil testing before construction.
He emphasized that the tests in the stages of construction is important and necessary to protect the owner from any financial burdens in addition to protecting the house from any cracks or problems coming with not estimated cost.
